We make growboxes for Medical Users for personal use. Our cabinet systems are of the highest quality. In Canada there is an emerging legitimate application for a small cabinet system that doesn't require the user to posess any carpentry skill or electrical knowledge whatsoever. We came up with a way to integrate the environmental controls of a Phytotron (growing chamber) in a cartridge-like contraption that drops into an attractive cabinet that wouldn't seem out of place in your home. At the heart of each system is the Integrated Hood, a compact assembly that includes the all the vital components properly matched to the enclosure. The lighting and cooling system, power distribution and timer all come assembled. High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting produces FAR better results than fluoros, but many people are more comfortable running fluorescent lights in their home, so we use both types. High Pressure Sodium lamps coupled with High Output Fluorescent lighting generates a better spectrum for growing than ANY competitor's enclosed growing system, including those upgraded with pricey enhanced spectral output bulbs. Fluorescent sidelights extend the usable range of the lamp to make the entire space productive with a relatively small HID lamp. Although enclosed growing systems can be purchased on the Internet, they're often expensive beyond the reach of most Medical Users. See our "Links" page for comparisons. Most employ fluorescent lighting only, which has often been challenged as a poor way to grow, and others lack the ability to maintain a dark period or conceal the contents of the box. A lot of people don't see the value in elaborate fluoro setups either, and prefer the proven results of HPS lights.
